Although spring is still far away, I felt like changing the cork board from a Christmas and winter style to a winter - spring version.
The main colors are warm woods and my current color favorite: cold and crisp turquoise.

Hey Thea! Where from do u collect these photos for the corkboard?
ReplyDeleteI have also brought a corkboard for my home (inspired after reading ur blog) :)
As of now, it has few of mine and Mahesh's photos..
Ur creativity always leaves me in awe!
Thats great :) Corkboards are just perfect because they are ever changing and my photos and pictures are coming from literally everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe background is often scrapbook paper or sometimes a nice sheet of gift wrap paper, family, pet photos obviously, sometimes I also print photos of pictures which I find online, like any art or graphics which I like, but couldn't afford. Then there are finds to make in free magazines or travel advertisements, mail order catalogs, free postcards, old magazines and always let some space to make your cork board useful for doctors appointments and the bus schedule... also nice are memories... movie tickets, handwritten notes... there is a lot and I keep on collecting, I have a folder and all new pictures are coming into it and when I reorganize my board I always have a large offer to choose from... :)
Try these two mailorder catalogs... they are both too costly to order something from them, but nice to have a look at and the catalog plus sending is for free... :) (The links are not working in the comment... so you might have to copy'n paste them :)
