Christmas wishlist / Wunschzettel

 The nice thing about a wish list is that you can basically show whatever you want. You can write, that you need two houses, a car and an island in the south and can be pretty sure, that you are not going to get any of it (not that I would like to …)… or you can show a couple of items in nice collages and still be sure, that your husband probably won’t get any of the items for you, but maybe he can guess some of the directions and trends… :)

Das Schöne an einem Wunschzettel ist, daß man an sich aufschreiben kann, was immer man möchte z. B. zwei Häuser, ein Auto und eine Insel im Süden und man kann sich ziemlich sicher sein, nie in Verlegenheit zu geraten, das auch zu bekommen. So ähnlich sieht es auch mit den Bildern in diesem Artikel aus, aber vielleicht bekommt mein Mann immerhin ein paar Anregungen.

 Cute and Sweet Selection

 To the 1. Picture, Yes, I know, I m not going to marry again... :D

 

Starting with the clothes, I realized that I'm as usual fascinated with accessories, like scarves, caps, muffs etc. which are always great to change any outfit in seconds.

With my dress choices it’s probably difficult to guess a direction as they are kind of a wild mix; just maybe that I need more Anarkali suits in muted colors (or start with Any(!) Anarkali suit in a muted color). And then there is this simple white night dress, long and sleeveless without any further decoration, I'm looking for since forever and not finding in any affordable price range anywhere.

Beginnend mit der Kleidung, bemerke ich einmal wieder, daß ich fasziniert von Accesoires bin, denn Schales, Mützen, Hüte etc. können jedes Outfit in Sekunden ändern.

Bei meiner Kleiderauswahl ist es wahrscheinlich schwierig einen Trend zu erkennen, denn es sieht selbst für mich nach einem wilden Mix aus. Einzig, daß ich gerne ein Anarkali Suit in dezenter Farbgebung hätte, könnte man gesondert erwähnen. Und dann ist da noch dieses einfache, lange weiße Nachthemd, nachdem ich schon seit langer Zeit suche und bisher nicht in einer bezahlbaren Form gefunden habe.

Jewellery is another point of my wish list and there the Indian styles are clearly dominating. I do want a new Jhumki style pair of earrings, but also all other kind of not to decent, equally not to big bling-blings are making me happy, but probably have to wait, until our next holidays in India.

Kommen wir zum nächsten Punkt auf unserer Liste: Schmuck. Hier dominieren ganz klar die indischen Formen. Ich möchte gerne ein neues Paar Jhumki-Ohrringe, aber auch alles andere zwischen nicht zu klein und nicht zu groß kann mich sehr erfreuen, muß aber wohl bis zu unserem nächsten Indien Urlaub warten.

The book section is very small this year, because I still have a couple of must-reads standing in my bookshelves… I just very recently fell in love with the cat illustrations of Anne Mortimer and would love to have her other books: Santa’s Snow Cat and A Pussycats Christmas.

Meine Buchwünsche sind in diesem Jahr sehr klein, denn ich habe noch eine Reihe an zu lesenden Büchern im Regal stehen... Doch vor Kurzem verliebte ich mich in die Kinderbuchillustrationen von Anne Mortimer und würde gerne ihre anderen Bücher: Santa’s Snow Cat und A Pussycats Christmas besitzen.

Let’s come to the small, but usually expensive technical & sport selection. The most affordable digital piano with a real piano sound is the Casio PX 110 Privia. Long time admired and still not bought is the Gorillapod Tripod for my camera and a graphics tablet is already since I first started using Photoshop a dear issue… well and last year snowshoeing became the only winter sport I can agree to.

Jetzt geht es zur kleinen, aber meist teuren Technik/ Sportabteilung. Das preisgünstigste Digitalpiano mit gutem Sound ist das Casio PX 110 Privia. Seit langem bewundert und doch noch nicht gekauft ist das bewegliche Gorillapod Stativ und ein Graphics Tablet steht bereits seit ich anfing Fotobearbeitungs- Programme zu nutzen auf dieser Liste... nun ja, und Schneeschuh- Laufen ist seit dem letzten Jahr, die einzige Wintersportart, der ich etwas abgewinnen kann.

 The last section consist of a bit random, mostly decoration items, like the painted steel glasses, the peel off wallpaper from modcloth and I would like to have anything from Chumbak, because I really fell in love with the products of this company and well such a reading chair will be my dream, once I do have a permanent place to stay… :)

Der letzte Punkt besteht aus einigen zusammengewürfelten Dekorationsgegenständen, wie die bemalten indischen Stahlglässer, die so gut zu den chinesischen Thermoskannen passen würden, oder die Sticker- Tapete von modcloth und ich hätte gerne irgendeinen Schnick-Schnack von der Chumbak Firma, die ich sehr mag. Ein Ohrensessel ist dagegen ein langgehegter Traum, der hoffentlich irgendwann zusammen mit einem dauerhaften Wohnort in Erfüllung gehen wird.

I can proudly announce, that I do not need any new shoes…. a hard decision, but I will stick to it (Oh, boots, cheaper, where? ;) ...  Merry Christmas … :)

Ich kann nunmehr auch stolz verkünden, daß ich keine weiteren Schuhe benötige, das war eine harte Entscheidung, aber ich versuche mich daran zu halten.... (Oh, Stiefel, billiger? Wo?;) ... Fröhliche Weihnachten... :)
